The crisp, colorful fall season is finally upon us. Stay warm this autumn with some our staff’s favorite and easy fall recipes!
Pulled Pork Sandwiches
This crockpot sandwich filling is easy to prepare and perfect for a party. Simply mix three pounds of boneless pork blade with your choice of seasonings, some onion, some garlic, and your favorite barbeque sauce and let it cook on low overnight or for 10-11 hours.
Black Bean Chili
Nothing says fall like a big bowl of chili. This black bean chili can be prepared in the crockpot overnight or during the day while you’re at work. Combine three drained cans of black beans, 15 ounces of hominy, a can of tomatoes, 28 ounces of broth, and your choice of seasoning and vegetables and let it cook on low for eight hours.
Butternut Squash Roast
Put an autumnal twist on the classic roast by adding butternut squash or whatever fall vegetables you can find at your local market. Mix 1.5 pounds of beef with the squash and vegetables, plus two cups of broth, onions, and seasoning, and let it cook on low for 10 hours. This will store in the fridge for a few days, but it’s so tasty we doubt you’ll have any leftovers!
