The athletic Buick LaCrosse is getting an update for the 2019 model year. This summer, a new Sport Touring (ST) model will join the 2019 LaCrosse lineup and will feature unique styling elements.
Some of the notable new visual elements include 19-inch midnight silver wheels, a rear spoiler, “ST” badging on the trunk lid, and a black mesh grille. With an overall monotone theme, the LaCrosse ST will have a body color grille surround and side vents.
“The LaCrosse ST emphasizes the importance of design, while also complementing the safety, refinement and technology of our flagship sedan,” said Phil Brook, vice president of Buick and GMC Marketing. “The LaCrosse exemplifies what we mean by attainable luxury, offering Buick’s signature QuietTuning, spirited and efficient performance and the latest in-car connectivity all at a tremendous value to customers.”
Under the hood, the LaCrosse ST will come standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine rated at 310 horsepower. It comes paired with a nine-speed automatic transmission. Buyers will be able to choose from five stunning exterior colors: Satin Steel Metallic, Red Quartz Tintcoat, White Frost Tintcoat, Quicksilver Metallic, and Ebony Twilight Metallic.
In addition to the ST model, there are a few other updates for the LaCrosse. The Avenir model will come standard with a new air ionizer to help eliminate odors while on the go.
